My Designs
Grain $ Roast
Coffee Buiness Card
This project was a personal design idea that I wanted to create for an imaginary coffee shop. Utilising Adobe Illustrator, I developed the coffee art, organised my concepts, and completed the business card design. 'Grain & Roast” symbolises my coffee shop brand and my love for tactile design. This approach allows my branding to tell a narrative rather than just present a logo. The mockups show the final design in real-life scenarios.
Trackers App
Online shopping delivery
This project was for my Mobile Play course, where I had to create an app to solve an issue that affects us and explore ways to help or fix it. I intended to develop this app for online shoppers, such as myself, to enable them to use a single app and track all their deliveries in one place. Combining everything into one area and getting notifications without forgetting or losing track of items that haven't been dispatched as well as getting points for all your purchases. The design elements are basic but stand out from the typical images used by online stores, which often feature white backgrounds. Using Figma, I learned to create interactive prototypes with conditional logic, allowing me to simulate real user flows. This pushed me to think more about user experience and accessibility in app design.
ViVi Cosmetics
Branding business Idea
This project was for my branding course, where we had to select a sector in an industry that is perceived as corrupt, and I chose the beauty industry and cosmetics. I created the brand ViVi, which aims to highlight animal testing ethics through emotionally charged and provocative visuals. It invites users to confront the hidden cruelty behind beauty products by presenting beloved pets as victims of testing. The idea is intended to be morbid and foster a deeper understanding of the animals that are being tested on and harmed.
Throughout the project, I got a deeper understanding of what it takes to create a brand and how to implement my ideas.
notation
typographic font
This project was a typography course where we had to create our own unique typography. The ideation involved using old English types that would have been engraved or stamped into the book. Additionally, I incorporated historical music notes that had a square shape and modernised them, creating my own alphabetically patterned typeface named "Notations," which refers to music or a series of patterns. Creating this project, I learned to use Illustrator from the start and incorporated a theme I wanted to explore. I also used the typeface for my other projects, which makes my work stand out more.
